Samyang 8mm F2.8 UMC Fish-eye II

The Samyang 8mm F2.8 UMC Fish-eye II is a praised little gem of a lens, allowing you to see the world through the eyes of a fish - or at least how we apparently suppose it would look like, if we could see the world through the eyes of a fish. The 8mm on this lens gives you an equivilant of 12mm on a full frame camera, or 180 degrees angle of view.

This lens is not for everyone. First, it is a fish-eye lens, which means that everything will appear distorted, and the further it gets from the center of the lens, the more distorted it will be. Second, the width of the lens is very wide, which means that creating a composition which will emphasize the subject, will be a challenge. This is a creative lens, which needs to be used for creative purposes by creative shooters. You will need to think outside the box, whenever you put this lens in front of the camera. But when you do, and you learn to use it properly, you will have a lens which is fun to use, and which gives you results you otherwise wouldn't be able to get.

This lens is a manual focus lens, but with a lens this wide it doesn't really matter. Anything will more or less be in focus no matter what. Since background blur - the bokeh - won't be a factor with this lens, you might as well just stop it down to f/5.6 or f/8, put the focus on infinity and shoot away.

If you're looking for an affordable, fun, and challenging lens, which will give you results which differ from the compitition - or just the other copycat photos on Instagram, then this is the lens for you.

XF 16mm f/1.4 WR

This is probably one of the most celebrated and revered Fujinon lenses, recommended by far the most of the people, who have had their hands on it. Though it being a wide angle, the close focusing distance of only 15 cm (!) allows you to get very creative with it, even creating some nice bokeh - if that is your thing. While many people would consider this pearl of a lens mainly for street photography or landscape photography, it can easily be used for product, food, and even and even portrait photography. Many would insist that this, together with the 56mm f/1.2 and the 90mm f/2 are the best lenses to get for your Fujifilm camera, having almost everything covered. To purchase the XF 16mm f/1.4 WR, follow link for below option/s: Amazon Specs: Focal Length 16mm (35mm Equivalent Focal Length: 24mm) Maximum Aperture f/1.4 Minimum Aperture f/16 Angle of View 83.2° Minimum Focus Distance 5.91" / 15 cm ...

XF 27mm f/2.8

The XF 27mm f/2.8 is one of Fujifilm's few actual pancake lenses, the only other being the 18mm f/2 lens. It offers an equivalent of 41mm on a full frame camera, or a 55.5 degrees angle of view. This lens has no weather sealing, is not considered particularly fast, and has a rumor for not having particular good resolution. It has a rumor for being a kind of "meh" lens, only being attractive for its cheap price. Yet, many reviewers express surprise when they review this little gem. Apparently it has more than what the eyes sees, particularly for the casual street photographer or documentarist, who wants something wider than the 35mm lenses, but still a little tighter than the 23mm lenses. It is a lens which both allows you to take in the scene, but also to get intimate with the subject, combining the best of the 35mm and 23mm worlds. And did I mention that it is a cheap lens? Also, the rumor of not having a particular good resolution might be unjustified. Check more b...
