But have in mind that the former is much more expensive and more heavy to drag around, and the latter only has an aperture of f/4. If you want something bright and light, then the XF 14mm f/2.8 R is the choice for you.

But what can you use this lens for? Landscape and cityscape are two connected uses for a lens this wide, but with a focusing distance of 18 cm and very little distortion, this lens can both be great for detail shots of objects, which you want to add a surrounding narrative to, as well as architecture.
